One of my biggest physical setbacks was a car accident that left me with neck pain that needs constant adjustment and attention. Almost monthly my neck would go out, I would get a migraine that would creep up my face and into my eyes. I would feel like I would vomit and would need a very dark room and a least a couple of hours or more to be away and regroup. It could be worse, I know, and I am grateful for this.
However something I did not know, is that it could also be better. I was so conditioned to popping pills with added "knock me out" benefits that I didn't realize that there were alternatives to pain management and even pain eradication. doTERRA essential oils introduced me to the self inquiry into seeing what supports my body might need to help heal itself. One of those discoveries is a protocol for my migraines. As all bodies are different, this might be a place for you to start and see what works for you. Protocol - One Drop of Frankincense, Copaiba and Peppermint on the thumb ( one drop at a time ) and apply to the roof of your mouth. Have a 10ml rollerball with 10 drops of marjoram, 5 drops cinnamon bark, fill with FCO and roll along hairline. You can also roll along the bottoms of your feet. If you have nausea, you can ingest a drop of Digestzen or take a Digestzen capsule to aid in stomach support. I usually find that it takes about 10-20 minutes to feel like I am recovering, and within an hour I feel so much better.
