Bath salts are my favorite way to detox and support my body in a calming self care routine.
My reasons to bath? - A bath after a stressful day helps me to relax into my bed at night. - A bath after a stressful workout or ski day helps to ease my sore muscles Kids love baths for the same reason adults do, baths are so calming. And bath salts help to increase the calm when you add certain essential oils. Here is my recipe for bath salts:
It is so easy to make: mix in a bowl and put into jars. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup to your bath, soak and enjoy! Great as gifts!!!

As I am continually looking for natural ways to support my wellbeing, I have been using doTERRA supplement products for just over two years and am increasingly surprised at how well my body has been responding to the Life Long Vitality supplements. I have suffered with gut health issues for over 15 years due to celiac disease and am now finding these ongoing issues starting to recede. This is a HUGE blessing. If you suffer with celiac disease you know the pain and discomfort when just a little gluten gets in the diet and you know how it is so closely linked to anxiety and exhaustion. If you want more information regarding what I'm doing for my own celiac support regarding supplements you can contact me for a dietary supplement list and cost breakdown. Recently my wellbeing journey has included investigating the supports available for reducing inflammation for my mother as her arthritis increases with age. Recently we have discovered doTERRA's Deep Blue Polyphenols in our second wellness kit and are seeing amazing results!!! What makes Deep Blue special is the proprietary arrangement of the included anti inflammatory supplements. They are safe and effective, as well as easy on the gut. ( Beneficial actually ) Here is the detailed information from doTERRA on Deep Blue: https://media.doterra.com/us/en/pips/doterra-deep-blue-polyphenol-complex.pdf Writing, as a form of communication, has never been my strong point. I prefer conversations. Dialogue. Listening. The presence of another human makes me feel safe when I have something to say, I need feedback. Maybe I am a people pleaser? But I LOVE to read! I love to learn, I love to sift through and contemplate. This snippet of information is not mine, but it has inspired me to contemplate and share. From Heidi Smith, the creator of The Bloom Book. Today is New Year’s Day in some traditions but not all. Our modern-day Gregorian calendar is based on the sun and it runs most of the world’s economies. It was created by a pope in the 16th century, and is rooted in Christianity. Prehistorically, most of the world’s calendars—and there are many--were organized around the moon. Most Christian holidays (e.g., Christmas and Easter) were appropriated from pagan and pre-Abrahamic religious holy days associated with the solstices and equinoxes, days honoring the organic cycles of the Earth. Image from Archetypal/planetary/elemental/pagan holiday illustration of unknown origin After reading her post I am inspired to contemplate my own mindset when it comes to the power in finding inspiration in others, shared communications, and building community. I am not alone in my thinking, and that there are many others. The circle is there, and like a fire, I/we must continue to fuel it with breath.
Inspired by the post above here is a blend that helps us to understand that, like a circle, we begin anywhere. Use any or all of these oils to begin again and again and again. This blend grounds us where we are, reminds us that we are here for more than just our self, that we are part of a community and therefore it holds space in the consciousness for the reminder that we are not alone. May we shed light on our own inner power and may that light spark the flame to remind others of the same. |
